How To Be More Positive

picjumbo.com_HNCK7388Hey boys and girls, it’s me again! Today I want to talk to you about something that’s very important not only for our writing, but our entire perspective on life.

Being positive! Our outlook can define our entire day, even change our mood! If we don’t learn a few tricks to control it we can find ourselves dreading the most important parts of our day!

1. Don’t let pessimistic thoughts get the better of you. This one is important, because I speak with confidence when I say that everybody makes themselves more nervous than they need to be about things.

Myself included. The best plan is to look at pessimistic thoughts as little backup plans. These types of thoughts are naturally occuring and only serve to help us. So let’s just relax and take it all in as if comes.

2. Always look for an optimistic point of view. Everything seems to happen for a reason. No matter how uncomfortable the situation, almost everything has a positive side.

When dealing with the atitudes of other people, we should always try to remember that they also have a lot going on. Whenever I come across somebody who is being a little bit disrespectful I automatically start to think about it from their perspective.

“They’re tired, and they’ve been dealing with customers all day, some of them jerks. To top it all off, they get paid minimum wage and the AC is broken.”

 3. Keeping a cool head is one of the most important parts of being positive. Once I start to see the world through other people’s eyes, I generally shy away from having a dramatic emotional response.

Try to look ahead of the present if you ever feel a little overwhelmed. Think of what would happen if you lost your cool or yelled at somebody.

Seeing the bigger picture can not only help us keep from getting upset, it can help us learn to be more patient.

So let’s get positive and get those web design projects knocked out, boys and girls! The only thing stopping you is well… You.
